Congratulations to our Ya Ne Dah Ah School Graduates!

On Friday, May 24, 2013, we honored our Ya Ne Dah Ah School graduates as they moved on to the next grade level. It was a sunny, warm day. Three dance groups blessed us with beautiful music and an eagle soared above the dancers. We honored Tony Pushruk for his many years of service as our Native Youth Olympics (NYO) Coach and Daniel Harrison for his many years of service as our Language Teacher. They will be greatly missed. We were honored that Markle Pete, an Elder from Tazlina that teaches the Athna Athabascan language in the school, was able to make it to the graduation and say a few words of encouragement. Have a great summer!
