Wasilla Veterans Center to Visit Sutton

C’eyiits’ Hwnax Life House Community Health Center (CHC) is partnering with the Sutton Public Library to host representatives from the Wasilla Vet Center. Representatives will be available to talk with Veterans about housing, health and benefits on Thursday, April 16, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. For more information or to make an appointment, please contact the Life House CHC at (907) 631-7665 or Nancy at the Sutton Public library at (907) 745-4467.

 

Dietician to Visit Life House Clinic

On Thursday, March 19th, Life House CHC will host Southcentral Foundation Dietitian Alesya Oleynik from the Benteh Nuutah Valley Native Primary Care Center to meet with community members interested in nutrition, weight loss, monitoring cholesterol, diabetes, children nutrition and overall healthy eating. Alesya will also be available for food and fitness coaching after your visit. We are excited to have a dietitian come to Sutton. If you have any questions about this event or would like to schedule an appointment please contact the Life House CHC at (907) 631-7665.

This is an open invitation to the community to come and learn about the Ahtna Hw’taene’ Nay’dini’aa den (Gathering Place) new construction project, which will house our Ce’yiits’ Hwnax (Life House Community Health and Wellness Center) in addition to Chickaloon Village’s Health & Social Services Department.

Refreshments will be served and all community members are encouraged to attend and view concept designs, floor plans, ask questions, and provide feedback.
