Chickaloon Village Traditional Council Transportation Program is funded through the Federal Highway Administration, Indian Reservation Roads. The Chickaloon Village Traditional Council has a completed Long Range Transportation Plan with priorities, maps and descriptions that available at the Transportation Office, Mile 55.5 Glenn Highway (Red Building).
Our Roads Inventory accepted by the BIA IRR has generated enough income to begin planning our first project. The very first project planned is an upgrade to the All Elks and Annie’s Roads leading to Chickaloon Village’s Housing units. This project will be completed with the assistance of ASCG, Inc., an engineering firm. The project was chosen because it is critical to our Housing development and safety of our residents as they travel on their day-to-day business.
