Summary:
Chickaloon Village Health and Social Services staff are committed to encouraging and supporting our Elders in remaining active and valued in our community.

We offer Elders’ Lunch every Thursday at noon. All are welcome at our lunches free of charge. Donations are accepted, but not required. Whenever possible, we schedule guest presenters to attend and discuss education and prevention topics specifically related to Elder issues.

We offer assistance in filling out forms and guidance in accessing community resources – Medicaid, Medicare, Social Security, public assistance, housing, Southcentral Foundation, Alaska Native Medical Center, etc.

We provide chore and errand assistance depending upon staff availability and we provide Elder volunteer opportunities so that our Elders are able to share and contribute to their communities.

We appreciate our Elders and enjoy their company.
